Sentauria has revolutionized the sound engineering in stadiums, arenas, theaters, open fields, and parks. Using the existing house speakers, amplifiers, and network, our team transforms the entire signal processing dynamics, so that the performance venue renders music and public address in fully spatialized form. Our proprietary spatial technology transforms a large or small venue house PA sound system into an immersive, multi-zoned concert hall experience. By spatializing the house source, it further optimizes the signal for streaming and broadcast. When external systems are brought into a venue, the Sentauria SRT Platform will also instantly transform that sound into an immersive spatialized experience which, too, is ready for streaming and broadcast.
This process includes:
Optimize Your Stadium for Each Unique Use
Most stadiums and arenas are used for multiple purposes. In smaller arenas (<20,000 seats), events usually include 1) basketball, 2) hockey, 3) live concerts, and 4) other entertainment. Basketball consists of 4,700 sq ft of wooden floors and no additional reflective surfaces of significance. However, hockey adds 17,000 sq feet of horizontal ice and roughly 3160 sq ft of vertically-oriented sheets of plexiglass. These present novel perpendicular surfaces that reflect sound in complex ways. Current arena sound systems do not account for these differences. Concerts have none of the above, though they include complex stage and speaker array setups.
Now, imagine that your stadium sound system is engineered specifically and distinctly for each of basketball, hockey, and concerts. Sentauria’s system is able to first analyze for and tailor its application to each of these unique sound environments. Thus, instead of having the basketball-focused sound system also running for hockey, the more complex acoustic dynamics of hockey and all its novel reflective surfaces can be accounted for with the Sentauria Intelligent System. Functionally, Sentauria can tailor to each of these operating conditions, noting that our unique engineering application runs quietly in the background.
For the arena engineer, it is a simple matter of choosing from one of three settings on the custom computer interface. These would be designated:
1 – Hockey
2 – Basketball
3 – Concerts & Other Events
This becomes one of the dynamic features of Sentauria’s platform that differentiates us from all other acoustic and sound applications for multi-use venues.
“I’m blown away. I never would have believed something like this was possible. You really opened it up. Fantastic! Excellent!”
Kirk Hammett of Metallica Hearing their “Through the Never” trailer powered by Sentauria™ Vivid at Minute Maid Park, Houston Astros Stadium
“…we did not receive a single noise complaint – that is unheard of at FedEx Field!”
After Sentauria’s SRT system was installed, the Washington Redskin’s games at FedEx Field went from averaging over 400 sound system complaints per game to zero.
“The improvement [to Astros ballpark] has been described as ’listening to AM radio your whole life and then all of a sudden being introduced to FM.”
Marcel Braithwaite, Senior VP, Business Operations

“The result is just something I can’t believe. I’ve been working in music, ballparks, and PA for 30 years. What they’ve [Sentauria] done to the system at Ranger’s ballpark in Arlington is groundbreaking.”
“It sounds great. You can hear almost every instrument in a song. It’s much clearer. It’s crisp and it sounds like you’re listening to music in Ranger’s ballpark right on your iPod or something.”
